Meshy
Use Meshy inside Unity through the UModeler X Gen 3D AI tab: generate 3D models from text or images with your own Meshy API key, then texture, remesh and rig the result before placing it in the scene.
Meshy is one of the two AI engines you can drive from the Gen 3D AI tab in UModeler X. You bring your own Meshy API key (see Getting Started); UModeler X sends the request, downloads the result, and places it in your Unity scene as an editable object — no export/import loop.
What you can do with Meshy in UModeler X
- Generate — create a model from a text prompt or a reference image.
- Improve — refine the generated model: texture it, remesh it, or rig and animate it.
Every step runs inside the Unity Editor, so the generated mesh is a UModeler X editable mesh you can modify with the regular modeling, UV and painting tools.

Before you start
- Enter your Meshy API key in the Gen 3D AI tab and log in to activate it — see Getting Started.
- Generation is billed by Meshy against your own Meshy account, not by UModeler X.
- Generated results appear in History; use Preview to inspect a result before placing it.
