The Edit Bones Tool is a tool that allows you to edit bones, including adding, deleting, moving, and renaming.

How to use
1.Launch the Edit Bones tool.
2.Select the bone you want to edit in the Scene or Bone Tree area.

3.Edit the bone using the right-click menu or drag in the Bone Tree area, or the gizmo handles in the Scene.
4.The bones have been edited.

Editing Bones
Add a Bone (Add)
There are two ways to add a bone.
- In the Bone Tree area,
right-clickthe desired bone and choose Add from the menu to add a new child bone under that bone. - With a bone selected,
Shift+dragthe gizmo handle to automatically add a new child bone at the dragged location.
Delete a Bone (Delete / Remove / RemoveAll)
In the Bone Tree area, right-click the desired bone and choose a deletion option from the menu.
- Delete: Completely deletes the selected bone. Its child bones are moved to the location of the deleted bone's parent and are connected to that parent.
- Remove: Deletes the selected bone. Its child bones are connected to the parent of the deleted bone, and their positions remain the same.
- RemoveAll: Deletes the selected bone and all of its child bones.
Move / Reparent
In the Bone Tree area, drag a bone onto another bone to make it a child of that bone. This changes the bone hierarchy (parent-child relationships).
Rename
Click an already-selected bone once more to enter the rename state and change the bone's name.
Properties
Basic

Properties for rigging convenience.
Show Handler
Show or hide handlers for moving or rotating bones.
Show Bones
This property shows the bones.
Show Bones Names
This property shows the names of the bones.
Enable Clicking On Bones
Property that allows you to set whether or not to enable selecting bones via Shift+Click.
Symmetry Mode (Only Bone)
When enabled, clicking (selecting) a bone also selects the bone on the opposite side, and creating, deleting, or moving a bone applies the same operation to the corresponding symmetrical bone. The "(Only Bone)" note means the symmetry applies to bones only, not to weights.
Overlay Animation
When enabled, the mesh is shown animated (deformed) along with bone movement, so you can see the mesh deform in real time as you move the bones.
Remove Bone With Zero Weight
During weight editing, when a bone's weight reaches 0, the bone itself is removed from that vertex's weight list.
Symmetry
Features for conveniently working with left-right symmetrical bone structures, provided as buttons in the Symmetry group at the bottom of the properties panel.
- Auto Name L/R: Automatically names bones according to their left/right side (Left/Right).
- Create Symmetry: If the currently selected bone has no corresponding Left or Right bone on the opposite side, automatically creates the symmetrical bone.
Bone Transfer
Copies the bone structure from another object into the current model, available in the Bone Transfer group at the bottom of the properties panel.
- Source Object: Specifies the source object (GameObject) to copy the bone structure from. (Scene objects are allowed.)
- Copy Bone: Copies the bone structure (hierarchy) of the specified Source Object into the current model's bones.
