General
What is UModeler X?
UModeler X is a 3D content creation solution that runs entirely inside the Unity editor. It provides a complete in-Unity pipeline — modeling, UV unwrapping, rigging, and painting — so you can create game-ready 3D assets without leaving Unity or switching to a separate external 3D program.
What can I do with UModeler X?
- Editable Mesh — model, rig, and paint meshes directly in the Scene view. See Editable Mesh.
- Curve Mesh — generate and edit geometry along a curve. See Curve Mesh.
- Mesh Ops — convert, combine, separate, and adjust meshes. See Mesh Ops.
- PicoBerry AI — generate game-ready 3D assets from text or images. See PicoBerry AI.
How is UModeler X different from the original UModeler?
UModeler X builds on the original UModeler's sketch-based, fast modeling and extends it into a full 3D content pipeline — adding UV editing with the LSCM tool, a non-destructive modifier system, a rigging mode for animation, and a painting mode for textures. For a feature-by-feature comparison, see UModeler X for UModeler users.
