Repeat Tool
The Repeat Tool runs the last one-click modeling operation again on the current selection. Default shortcut is the semicolon (;).
The Repeat Tool runs the last modeling operation again on whatever is selected now. Press ; (semicolon) instead of going back to the toolbar each time.
It shines on repetitive work — connect, select a new edge ring, ;, select the next one, ;.
How to use
-
Run a one-click modeling tool once, such as Connect, Subdivide or Circularize.
-
Change the selection.
-
Press
;. The same operation runs on the new selection.
The shortcut can be changed under Preferences > UModeler X > Shortcuts.
What can be repeated
The Repeat Tool remembers the last tool that ran in one click, plus Bevel. The one-click tools in the modeling toolbar are:
| Group | Tools |
|---|---|
| Add | Bridge, Connect, Subdivide |
| Deform | Circularize |
| Remove | Collapse, Combine Face, Detach, Merge, Separate Parts |
| Selection | All, Border, Grow, Invert, Isolate, Loop, Ring, Shrink |
| Surface | Flip, Mark UV Seam, Unmark UV Seam |
| Other | Bevel |
Tools you drag or draw with, such as Push Pull or the shape tools, are not repeated. When nothing has run yet, pressing ; does nothing.
